On our way back to Lexington after yesterday’s graduation party, Becky, Crystal, and I took a detour to the Paris Drive-in on Highway 68. Crystal did a shoe selfie (she’s famous for them) with the screen as her backdrop. So, we played our usual game of “photographing the photographer,” or rather, I did. It doesn’t get much more American than those red, white, and blue chucks in front of a drive-in screen. It made for a great selfie shoe shot, too. I love that the Paris Drive-in is still in operation. I used to go to the drive-in all the time in Tahlequah. A bunch of us would pile into Angie’s pick-up and go on Wednesday $5 car-load nights. Such great memories. I’d love to go see a movie at the Paris drive-in this summer and make some new memories. Ya’ll come go with me.
