“We don’t have control. We do have choice.” ~ Cheri Huber
The Brent Spence Bridge is the major artery (I-75 and I-71) bridge over the Ohio River between Covington, Kentucky and Cincinnati. It was closed for a time recently for repairs. It is one of many bridges in the country that desperately needs to be replaced before it falls. As a double-decker bridge, it’s a little creepy when you’re going north on the lower deck and you know it’s in bad shape. It sure didn’t stop me from enjoying the view though, and hey, we went over and back without incident. All things considered, that’s a lot to be thankful for.
