Think about all the beauty still left around you and be happy.” ~ Anne Frank

we're all equal
we’re all equal

Sandy Davis is leaving town for a while (I refuse to say she’s moving). With Stacy Yelton and Greg Davis, we piled into her PT Cruiser and set off down U.S. 68 for a day of friendship and picture taking. Among other things, this fabulous equality photo taken at the Bourbon Drive-In: timely since the Supreme Court is still arguing over gay marriage, also known as marriage. The innate ability to understand that all men and women in this country are meant to be treated equally no matter what is but one reason why I love these three people. They’re smart. They’re compassionate. They’re funny. They are just plain cool. Plus, they lead me to the Colville Covered Bridge in Bourbon County, which I had never even heard about, let alone seen. It gave me a chance to do some more experimental photography. It was a brilliant day, start to finish.
