seeds and the circle of life

West Liberty and Morgan County lost a faithful citizen in Lynn Nickell last night. I don’t have a photo of Lynn handy or I’d post it. Lynn was the authority on the county’s history, a community leader, always ready to do his civic duty for the betterment of the town and country. I don’t think anybody loved our little town more than Lynn. He and Letha Nell raised two fine sons whom I am proud to call friends. I am far from the only one who’s going to miss Lynn. He and dad were good friends. They worked together to raise money to get the WWI Doughboy statue put back together after the tornado. Throughout dad’s dementia he has never forgotten Lynn. In fact, he mentions their friendship from time to time, always with fondness. I reckon that’s how most of us will remember Lynn and Letha Nell. Thank you for all you’ve done to help generations remember where we come from.
