“It does indeed matter what we do, say, and even think. Everything counts. Everything leaves an imprint in our minds.” ~ Pema Chödrön

Sharon asked about the nursing photos I took of the 12-hour foal, and I said they were just too dark. This one, however, was light enough to work with. The camera I used made a big difference in the low light. Let me tell you, this stall was super dark. Back when I was shooting film, it would have been near impossible to do this shot. It was just that dark. There’s a lot to be said for digital technology. You can see the dripping milk from the unused teet. I’m going to put out in the universe my desire for a Sony A7 IV with my favorite lenses. How fantastic this image could be with that heavy weight. Dreaming is the only way I’ll ever get one. But a girl can dream, right? I might need to start playing the lottery ha!
