Cassie Bick is in her Jesus year. That’s what I call 33. In her Jesus year, she’s finally leaping into marriage with a wonderful guy, Jeff Whitehouse. While I generally detest bridal showers, I actually had a good time at Cassie’s. They only played one game. Cassie had to guess answers Jeff gave to questions about her. The question that reminds me of the photo was, “Use one word to describe Cassie.” Jeff’s answer was, “Compassion.” (actually, it was ‘compassion/heart’ because he gave two answers for every question to cover his butt. Smart man!) You might remember that back in December I paid a visit to their first home together and snapped an impromptu shot that even included Jeff’s beloved dog, Hank. That was our gift to Cassie and Jeff (me and Cassie’s aunt Stacy Yelton). It was wrapped in Trader Joe’s bags because we had no paper and the TJ’s bag all say “reusable, recyclable”, so we took them at their word. Turns out it’s Cassie’s favorite store. We scored big time with the gift and wrap job: we won a door prize for them! Yes, it was a lovely shower indeed.
