Shero and I had a long, fabulous Mother’s Day. First, it was down to Richmond and Menards to buy inexpensive hanging flower baskets. We got there just as half of Richmond also arrived, and despite it being Mother’s Day, most everyone was not in a jolly mood. We got our flowers and left, because we needed to be in Morehead, where we met up with Greg, Patricia, Timmmy, and Tammy to share a Mother’s Day meal at Cracker Barrel. The now seasoned widow held space for the new widow, and we all enjoyed a delicious meal together on a gorgeous afternoon. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. I love all my people, and I’m tickled when some of them get to see one another. Greg got to have his picture made with both of his mothers. It was sweet.
