Adam Watkins graduated last night in the pouring rain. Even before the rain forecast, Shero and I couldn’t go because it was outside on the bleachers, and that arrangement doesn’t work for old folks on walkers. Still, I thought they’d have a rain plan. They did not, and the poor kids had to walk across a football field in the rain. His brother, AJ, didn’t get a graduation at all because of the COVID lockdown. I felt so bad for him and all the families that had to sit through it, but Adam is on his way now, and I’m hoping he dives into filmmaking with both feet. Congratulations to all the graduates this weekend.
