lunch with friends
Old friend Richard Maiti got in touch with colleague MLE some time back, and today, we finally made lunch happen (we missed Marie, though). It had been years since we’d caught up. Richard is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. He’s been teaching computer science at Kentucky State University for the last five years after having done loads of work for the UK in various departments, including the libraries. Since we last met, he’s gotten married and has a baby on the way. We’ve really got to have lunch again before the baby is graduating from college! The news and Richard’s kindness made my day.
