The first of three off-campus summer tours to neighboring libraries and archives, this new program through the Professional Development Committee offers a glimpse at how others in the profession operate. Today, we went to the Kentucky Horse Park’s International Museum of the Horse. They have a library and archive inside the museum, and they graciously offered a museum tour as a bonus (plus, it’s not open to the public on Mondays). It was a great afternoon with colleagues. Plus, Reinette Jones if one of the funniest humans alive. Who wouldn’t want to spend an afternoon with her at a museum?
