After Fred’s funeral a couple of weeks ago, we were headed back to West Liberty from the cemetery at Caliboose in Wolfe County when we fell in behind a storm that produced a lovely rainbow. There’s a wide valley in a small community called Mize, and there’s a gorgeous farm in the valley that runs down to Grassy Creek. I’ve always found it to be one of the most beautiful places in the county. It was especially so after this crisp spring rain.
