“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you.
What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
~ Jane Goodall
Adventure day number two included photographing the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, Kentucky with Annie Bassoni. There’s really no way to describe it short of stunning. The exterior was modeled on Notre Dame. The interior holds one of the world’s largest hand blown stained glass windows, just behind Annie and The Pope. We hopped across the Ohio to stop by St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church on Plum Street. It was not at all like the basilica, and sits directly across the street from the Isaac M. Wise Temple. The juxtaposition of the two religious houses was interesting. Then, it was off to see the funniest man on the planet, the very sexy, very smart Eddie Izzard. It was a near perfect day!
