Can you tell which light is a full moon, which are streetlamps, and which are garden variety lights on a city street? Back in December 2018 I visited my friend Rick Warfield in Washington, DC. I posted about it here and here. I learned late today that he died two days ago, the same day Jim Brown died 23 years earlier. That’s weird and sad. Rick had been on my mind a great deal lately and I kept telling myself to call him. As usual, I got distracted by something, who knows what, and forgot. He wasn’t in good health when I was there. I hope he has found peace. I’m grateful for the time we had together.
