“Be not afraid of going slowly. Be afraid only of standing still.” ~ Chinese Proverb

I have driven many hundreds of thousands of miles in my life. Unbelievable as it is, my dad started me driving when I was only four years old (not kidding). I’d driven thousands of miles before I ever had a driver’s license. In 1990 alone I drove 80,000 miles. It was the height of my days as a professional musician. Week before last I finally turned over 100,000 miles on my beloved Scion TC, Bella Donna. It took over 13 years to reach the milestone. It is but one example of how my life has changed since I started working at UK. Yet, I adore my car, and I would not want her abused as so many of my previous vehicles have been, barreling coast to coast with little time for rest. Without a doubt my faithful Bella will see me through another 13 years, though they won’t all be at UK, and I dare say such a slow rack-up of miles will not be sustained. I’m forever grateful for her incredible craftsmanship: best car ever.
