“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive- to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.” ~ Marcus Aurelius
Jill won yesterday’s raffle prize of an original Jon Reynolds print. Here, we see our winner tapping the creative skills of artist and framer extraordinaire Pam Oldfield Meade, whom I cannot believe I didn’t get a photo of with her hubba hubba husband Jim Bob, pictured below with fantabulous artist and human being Jenny Bell. I was plum tickled that Jill won, and so was she. Everyone was envious, I think.
I missed photographing a lot of people at yesterday’s event, but I was able to snap a couple of Kopana selfies, one with my sister-from-another-mister Jodi (above) and the other with superwoman Lara May Vest, who appreciates comedienne LeeAnn Morgan as much as I do. Like Pam and Jim Bob, I can’t believe I didn’t manage a photo with her and her husband. I didn’t even get him in the background of a photo of someone else! #PhotographerFail
I managed to snap a picture of Charlie Conley, II, with The Artist, but somehow, I missed the entourage that came with him (Charlie always travels with an entourage, you know). Then, Pam Meade was kind enough to snap a picture of me and The Artist, for which I will always be grateful. Did I mention that yesterday was a fantastic day? I’m so, so thankful for it, and every day I’m above ground, and extremely grateful to be in the company of so many of the world’s finest people.
