Today was extra special. I had the honor of meeting BFF Reinette Jones’ beautiful daughter, Stephanie. She was immediately warm and welcoming to me, just like her mother, and I loved her instantly, just like her mother. I also had the privilege of meeting Reinette’s sister, Vickie (below). Like Reinette and Stephanie, she felt comfortable, as if I’d known her forever. As I listened to their laughter, saw their affection in action, I was again reminded that there’s simply nothing like family. Genuine love and familial bonds will see you through the bliss and the very worst life has to offer. But always you must laugh because that’s where the spirit of hope resides.
