“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.” ~ Rumi
This is not my Leo. This is dad’s cat, Clyde. Clyde is an outdoor only cat, and boy, is he tough. That cat has fought his whole life, no doubt taking on every varmint in Eastern Kentucky and lived to tell the tale. He likes to watch what’s going on in the house, but he doesn’t want to come in. In fact, he eats in the kitchen window, so it’s kind of like he joined us for our thanksgiving beef stew. That’s right, beef stew. Long story, but suffice it to say, our thanksgiving meals have been interesting like this for the last 10 years or so. The moral of the story is that it doesn’t matter what’s served. It matters that we’re together. This year was especially nice, calm, and full of thanks for our many blessings.
