Creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

The wedding of Virgil Alcorn and Deborah Burkybile was beyond wonderful. I spent the reception taking pictures and playing music with Scott Eastman and Jeff Patterson. It was the funnest reception ever. Our playing put a smile on a lot of faces, which just made my day. We did the formal photos earlier when there was still plenty of daylight. Virgil’s grandson, Noah, was a ham, obviously. Weddings just aren’t as much fun without kids. One thing was certain, there was more love and happiness than a single lens could capture.
