Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, Oregon was on the list to visit this trip, and here it is. There was cloudcover most of the day, and it provided a lovely sky in the evening. A little too much, but I didn’t care. The sea breeze was perfect. The tempurature was perfect. Our room is on the beach, and and it’s surrounded by bunny rabbits, many that will come right up to you. It’s amazing. After sunset, there were fires on the beach in both directions, and you can hear the waves even with the door closed. It is stunningly beautiful here; one night isn’t nearly enough, but I am eternally grateful for it.
