“Light tomorrow with today.” ~ Elizabeth Barrett Browning
As Judy and I made our way to dinner the first evening I arrived in Madison we passed this place on the sidewalk where someone regularly puts out bread for the birds. They were completely nonplussed by the passersby, those birds. I stopped to take a picture, like I do, and I heard a woman at the corner say something about how silly I was for taking pictures of them. Maybe I am silly, but those birds made me happy, and they were just sweet as could be in the setting sun. I wish that woman at the corner could enjoy birds. I think she’d be a lot happier.
