“It’s not a matter of ‘finding yourself,’ but rediscovering yourself under layers of judgement, doubt, and fear.” ~ Unknown

morning

It was snowing when Stacy drove me to the airport at 5:30 am. That’s right, I said snow. Mark it down, October 18th. It might be some kind of record. Meanwhile, it was a balmy, dry Southern California day when I landed in Los Angeles. The last flight was so long that I had time to watch the latest Downton Abby movie and The Beatles and India. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon. In the photo below, you can see downtown LA, but if you look directly below the elbow of the wing at a little white speck on top of the hill, that’s the Hollywood sign. You can actually read it from the air, but the crappy phone camera wasn’t having it. I’m ready for bed, even though it’s only a little after 7:00 pm in LA. Granny has had a long day.
