Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.

It was the annual Family Day for the Terry’s as the neighbor’s cows looked questioningly at us on a hay ride. Uncle Harold and aunt Phyllis opened their home and farm to us again so we could meet, eat, play corn hole, take a hay ride, walk the hills, and be in fellowship with each other. I look forward to it every year.

Me and Missy acting a fool could only be topped by my mother photo bombing us. As you can see, I come by my silliness honestly.

Usually, family day is earlier in October, but this year it happened to fall on the same day as Lexington’s annual ‘Thriller’ event. Of all of us Terry’s, only Missy had seen it before. Those of us living in Lexington decided to go: Missy, Macie, Lanelle, Barb and her grand-daughters, Renee, Aaron and the boys, and Lisa and me. It was a fun way to end a great day with my family.
