“We all can dance when we find music we love.” ~ Giles Andreae

I didn’t have my camera with me when I went to the office today, and that was really too bad because the remains of the Kirwan Blanding complex was startling. Search the outhouse for five other posts of the complex during various phases of the demolition to see how this rubble used to stand. The logical side of my brain knows why the university took them down, but the preservationist side of me hates it. Each building by itself was not especially outstanding, but taken together in their complex fashion, they conveyed a style and symmetry particular to their period that isn’t seen now, flatteringly so. I’m so glad I was able to document them before they came to this.
