the Dude abides
I took one step out of the car on Sunday and heard my name. I turned around to find this young man hollering at me from inside his super cool Jeep. He took me for a ride to the end of the parking lot. I mentioned some time ago that Charlie was a miracle. Every time I see him, I’m reminded of how lucky we are to still have him here on this plane. If I told you the story of his survival, you’d understand. He is Shero’s buddy. She would fight for him like he was her own son, and let me tell you, she can swing a mean cane. He’d do the same for her, too. Charlie Conley is a keeper.
