once upon a time
I was in the basement today when I noticed our personnel board from years ago. So much has changed since then. Jim Birchfield is retiring this fall. Kate Black, Bill Marshall, and Adrianne Stevens have all retired. A bunch of us moved on to something else. Several of us changed job responsibilities and titles. One thing remains, and that’s our commitment to our patrons. It feels good to make people happy; to provide them with information they may have been searching for years to find; or an interview or photograph of their grandparent or lost sibling. Plus, we get to see the King Library Press every day. I call that a win!
