I was at work before the sun came up this morning, which meant I got good parking. It also allowed me to see how much the Catholic Newman Center has fixed up its courtyard and outdoor meditation garden. It’s beautifully bathed in sodium light that gives it a welcoming warmth. I’ve never been able to capture the scene the way I see it. Maybe one day I’ll have my big camera with me in the right light with the right lens, and I’ll get it right. Until then, I’ll enjoy this poor imitation.
