This was my perspective for more than a decade, almost nightly in the 80’s and early 90’s. Photographers rarely have the opportunity to shoot from a drummer’s vantage point. Tonight, at Kiya’s solo gig, I made it a point to capture what I’ve seen more times than I can count. Any chance to sit in support of such talent is a blessing.
