“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique.” ~ Martha Graham

Harvey (snapseed)

The remnants of Hurricane Harvey finally made its way to The Bluegrass. It made landfall the first time, of three, a week ago today, and it’s been dropping record rains ever since. South Central Kentucky got quite a bit of rain from the system, as where Central Kentucky got mostly drizzle and wind. But the few squalls that moved through, like this one, was just a tiny taste of what Texas and Louisiana went through. I love a good storm, but never one so bad that people get hurt. I continue to pray all those folks put their lives back together in quick time. It makes me so grateful to have a dry place to sleep tonight.
