For me, there’s something so beautiful in the simplicity of Virginia Creeper on a wooden fence, made even more subtle by black and white. But, then, I dig wood and wooden fences with or without vines. I also have a thing for old houses, as anyone who follows the outhouse knows well. This circa 1800 beauty with its thick walls, small windows, and brick fence is a favorite.
