Mornings on campus used to be filled with students. Not anymore. By the way, this is Pence Hall – no relation to the vp – home of the College of Design from whence the Historic Preservation department hails. Right after I graduated with my BA, Kevin Johnson and I took summer jobs helping remodel Pence Hall. I quit after a week to work in landscaping, but Kevin stuck with it. That’s been 23 years ago. Good memories.
