“Be patient where you sit in the dark. The dawn is coming.” ~ Rumi

This is Suzanne Liebee. Like me, she is good friends with Terry Keys, and like Terry, she’s utterly delightful. She had me laughing out loud the first time we met just over two weeks ago. I knew right away she was a keeper. At each rehearsal we see one another, sort of giggle and say, “We’re still here!” Today was our Chancel Choir debut, me and Suzanne, and I managed to grab a quick snap before we made our sanctuary entrance. I didn’t have a chance to catch up with Suzanne after the service, but if she got as much inspiration from it as I did, it’s a big win for us all. I don’t believe I’ve ever felt more welcome and included as I have by this choir. And you talk about singing! Some of these folks are gifted beyond words. You can watch the whole service, where I shake a mean tambourine in one number, below. The actual service doesn’t start until close to the 6-minute mark. FYI – it pops up on facebook, but it should play even if you don’t have an account.

Thank you for the kind words. I believe there are good choir times in store for us.
