After a dreary few days, the clouds lifted and left us a beautiful evening. I came upon the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church on Old Frankfort Pike. It sits at the end of Pisgah Pike, one of the world’s most scenic and historic roads.
You gotta love a church with a sense of humor. And how many churches have thoroughbreds as a backyard decoration? The electrical towers are a bit of an eyesore though. A necessary evil, so to speak. All kidding aside, Kentucky is God’s country. There’s no doubt in my mind.
