I used to stockpile quotes for the outhouse, sometimes a week to ten days ahead of schedule. It was interesting to see how often they were eerily relevant to what was happening in my life that day. It was fun to watch, and it saved time when writing the post. That exercise stopped just about one thousand days ago (that number is relevant, but not for this post). Since then, it has sometimes felt like a chore to find a quote- any quote- and there have been times when I’ve used a joke instead of a positive sentiment because I couldn’t find anything that I hadn’t used before. Still, every once in a while, I will stumble upon a saying that accurately reflects my day, and today’s quote is one such saying. Of late, I’ve been dealing with home inspections, major issues, and decisions around selling Hero and Shero’s house, and just life in general as an orphan. Nevertheless, I am confident it will all work out as it should because it always does. Stress and worry suck the joy out of living, and at the end of the day, it’s useless anyway. Everything has a way of working out. You just have to trust God, the creator, the universe, and the ancestors to support you while the gears turn to get to that point. This is how I choose to see the world, and more often than not, it gives me a beautiful world.
