John and Nila Crouch are just the cutest couple. In some ways, they remind me of Hero and Shero in how they communicate with each other. I mean, look at their adorable faces! I’ve seen similar looks between my folks and some other couples who have been married for over fifty years. Cute is just cute – they are cute. The three of us had dinner together this evening, and I enjoyed their company more than I can say. We laughed plenty and talked about parents, aging friends, real estate, columbariums, interest rates, family, high school, yard sales, dogs, and just about everything in between. If I didn’t have to feed the dogs, we’d still be in the corner booth talking away the night. I love these two so much, and I’m beyond proud to claim them as family. They’re just the bee’s knees, and I’m looking forward to seeing them more in retirement. I’m making them a priority.
