I made this in seventh grade wood shop at Carson Junior High in Tucson. My mother has kept it all these years. Today, it hangs on my wall and I look at it everyday. I remember making it. It’s was a visceral experience for me, and I hope one day to find time to do more woodworking projects.

I was so impressed with that candle holder back then and still today I love it. It holds the same mirror that you placed in it with the same globe. Maybe the same candle, can’t remember when I put it in there but it’s old..! You also made some Cactus Jelly in Home Ec cooking. It was delicious too. YUM..
