The DAV in Morgan County always do their part, and not just in the Sorghum Festival parade. They go above and beyond to help any vet who needs it. They stand though all kinds of horrible weather to give a vet their final respect. Service to your country or community doesn’t necessarily end when you’re discharged from one branch or the other. For that matter, service to your country or community isn’t incumbent on being in the military at all. Just help however and whenever you can. Be kind to your neighbors. Be part of your community. The dividends aren’t always immediate, but it doesn’t go unnoticed.
