Mom had a volunteer tomato plant spring up in mid-summer. Now, it has taken over her rose garden, weighed down with these perfect grape tomatoes. I had the garden weeded while she was in the hospital the first time, but she felt so bad when she came home she didn’t even notice. However, she did notice the explosive behaviour of her volunteer tomato plant. If all the bloodwork is good in the morning, she will be home by afternoon. I will feed her a salad of cherry tomatoes fresh from her garden.
