Never let the sadness of your past and the fear of your future
ruin the happiness of your present.

what do you think this is? (snapseed)

From last Thursday to this, it’s been one of the strangest weeks I’ve experienced in a long time. Not good. Not bad. Just strange, and on many fronts. When things get strange, I look up. And when I look up, I see more clearly. The stranger the week got, the more I looked up, and the more positive I felt. I’ve worked very hard in the last nine months to build a life based on positive thought, right action, kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. These are shared values of Christ and Buddha. These were the values my grandmother gave me that I have not always followed. As you consciously follow The Way (positive thought, right action, kindness, compassion, and forgiveness among others), when strange comes knocking you find out whether you’re really doing all you can to bring these things to fruition. I’ve got a long way to go, but even when I look through a dirty glass roof I only see beautiful blue skies. I must be doing something right. Doesn’t hurt that it’s a lovely photographic composition either.
