Prince died today. I’ve seen a lot of musicians on social media say they’ve taken this harder than the recent death of David Bowie. I have to agree. He was gifted beyond all reckoning. He was also quite young, just 57, the same age as my Uncle James that died in February. Frankly, the whole of 2016 has become down-right freakish by the number of well-known and familial people that have walked on.
