It’s the day before Shero’s 81st birthday, and she’s not feeling well. We can’t have that! I dropped by Kroger Pharmacy to pick up a med for her, and this was what I was met with. I stood in line for 15 minutes to be told it hadn’t yet been filled and please give it another 15 minutes. This was three hours after it had been called in. This is not an unusual occurrence, but the staggering wait line sort of is. I bought my groceries, took them to the car, went to the bathroom, and stood in line for another 15 minutes. Success…after the keypad didn’t work, losing another 10 minutes. I don’t care. I would do it all again for Shero to find relief and wake up healthy on her birthday. And if you see or talk to her tomorrow, wish her a happy birthday.
