Lafferty Hall has been in the outhouse before for its brickwork. Here is yet another view of its patchwork exterior. I’m intrigued and perplexed by the ingenious use of brick in such a mixed way, as if the designer, Ernest Johnson, was schizophrenic. He wasn’t, but I can’t help but study the patterns every time I walk by. That alone is worth saving.
