end of the storm
Our power never went off, thankfully, despite the 1/2″ of ice over the 5.5″ of snow, followed by another 3″ of snow today. We’re not quite out of the woods yet, though. The storm has passed, but the temps have dropped dangerously low, so the accumulation isn’t going anywhere. UK has closed for a second day tomorrow, and I’m grateful for that. Now that the snow and ice are over, I’ll get out and shovel all day instead of going to work, and be grateful the power is on.
