“Sometimes, rest is the greatest medicine for the soul – not sleep, but true stillness. A moment to breathe, to be, to listen.” ~ Unknown

white hall

A year ago, or more, the Whitehall Classroom Building was vacated so the restoration of its innards could begin. I’ve had more classes in Whitehall than I can remember, but I always found it a comfortable space, mainly in the theater rooms. Talk about being in large classes! Those theater classrooms were splendidly large enough to keep the professors from doing the things I hate, like breaking the class into small groups or calling on people constantly. The lighting in those rooms was theater-like, too, and I really appreciate that. At last, the classroom building is getting a much-needed paint job, returning it to a “whitehall.” It looked lovely against today’s bright blue sky.
