Four large fruit trees pruned? Check. Sore and stiff as an old woman? Check. All bones sufficiently cracked for the next 10 years from a tumble to avoid a falling branch? Check. Shero fed and watered? Check. Ibuprofen for soreness? That’s coming next. To help break up the day, Jen was in town and generously brought Bonnie by for a play date with her boyfriend, Lord Basil AKA Buddy. Much fun and humping was had. We didn’t have the heart to tell either one of them that they’re fixed and thangs just ain’t gonna work. Between the doggo antics and the vitamin D, it was a good day for distraction. The fruit trees should be good for another couple of years now. It might take me that long to feel human again.
