Finally! After more than 14 months we were able to see Aunt Janet. It was a very strict, short visit. We were only allowed two at a time, only 45 minutes, and we had show our vaccine cards. Visitors and their resident was quartered in specific areas, away from other visitors, residents, and staff. Though it was a bit of a production, and we couldn’t all be together at the same time, we so appreciated the lengths the rehab center was going to to ensure everyone’s safety. That’s why they’ve had no deaths among their residents from the virus, and I believe even with variants on the rise they will continue to protect the souls in their care. However short, our time with Janet was welcome. We have desperately missed her.
