A perfect end to the work week was a meeting/happy hour with my newspaper/IFLA News Media peeps Mary Feeney – Arizona (top left), Ana Krahmer – Texas (bottom right), and Niels Bønding – Denmark, with the Tiger King who’s name I don’t know and won’t bother to look up. The photos are very accurate of our meeting. In fact, they’re accurate for any time we’re all together, which isn’t as often as any of us would like. In fact, we pondered how different our meetings might be in a post-COVID-19 world. Will we know each other with our masks on? Can we hug one another ever again? Are group hugs out entirely? It warmed my heart to see them even if virtually. As Andy says, “We will get through this. We will get through this together.” Honorary Kentuckians one and all.
