I had the best day with my first cousin, Melissa Wilson Moore. She’s catering mom and dad’s anniversary party, so out on a beautiful Saturday we went for vittles and decorations. I don’t think just the two of us have done anything together in 30 years. We’re always with family, which isn’t a bad thing, but it does limit one on the more personal connections. Being one of the oldest of the Terry grandchildren, I remember when many of my cousins were born. I remember when Missy was born. She was always my closest cousin. Today was a rare blessing.
