I ran into Mark Cornelison at the Stapleton show. He’d been called in by his former employer (Herald-Leader) to shoot the event for Sunday’s edition. I knew Mark before he came to work at UK, when he was still working for the H-L. That’s where he was working way back in 2014 when he first appeared in the outhouse. Not only is he a sweetheart, but the guy is also a total pro. I’d love to follow him around for a day and pick his brain as he works. Now that he’s at UK the photo quality coming out of UK PR has grown leaps and bounds. Plus, I get to see him around campus a lot more. Anyway, it was great to run into him Saturday. He even managed to get Judy in Sunday’s edition (just like Forrest Gump, she said). I love my people so much.
