“If I’ve learned anything from life, it’s that sometimes the darkest times can bring us to the brightest places…” ~ Daniell Kopeke

The day finally came to present my thesis project to the HP faculty. Several folks, including Doug Boyd who graciously attended to support me and feed his unspoken HP needs, aren’t pictured, but their good presence and feedback were felt just the same. I have to say that I’ve been incredibly blessed by many of my classmates who are travelling this HP road with me, like Caide Khoury (thumbs up) and Nan Wakefield (seated in front of him). I am constantly amazed at how smart, generous, and powerfully inquisitive they are. This generation gets a lot of flack, but most of the classmates have been like Caide and Nan; extremely eager to make the world a better place. They give me hope for the future, and I feel so lucky to be in their company. Likewise, I can’t say enough great things about the HP faculty. Each is unique and vital to understanding HP and my role with it. Really, words fail for what a positive experience this program continues to be for me and I’m just so, so grateful to – and for – all of these folks.
