My consolation prize for missing Texas was breakfast with Stacy at Winchell’s for the first time in over two years, and rehearsal with ma’boyz. The weather today was spectacular, so after breakfast, we ambled out to the Farmer’s Market where we met several wonderful dog friends and bought utterly delightful succulent plants for Stacy and mom. One of the things I love about living in Southland, in addition to Winchell’s, is the Sunday Farmer’s Market, and though today was smaller than usual (it’s early season yet), I saw several new (to me) farmers with many exciting choices. That was promising. And with dad and mom (mostly dad) feeling better, we got them out into the sunshine, too. Just look at these two Ray-Ban raisins in the sun! Maybe spring has finally come to Kentucky.
